Running Accomplishments:

1 Marathon/year for the past 8 years, ; PR'd at 08 St. George 3:13:24!

1/2 marathon PR Moab, 1:37, beat this at 08' St George with a neg split at 1:31ish, Pr'd officially at 09' Moab 1/2, 1:33:13, even though I ran faster the 2nd half of St. George marathon, i assume I count this one! which tells me 2 things, 2nd half of St. George is a really fast course, and I am very surprised I could do that on the 2nd half of a marathon, must of been the good rainy cold weather!! Under 1:30 in 09' is still the goal!

3:19:02 Ogden Marathon 08'

3:33:06 Ogden Marathon 09' (tough one, but good to finish!)

25th place in Ragnar 2007, with a great team!

2nd place finish Ragnar 2008 Ultra Division! 23:30ish

I know this is a running sight, but finished Lotoja 3 x's, in 07 I did it in 10hrs. 36min.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Sub 3:00 marathon in 09' : Sub 1:30 half in 09'

Sub 20 min. 5k in 09'

 1st place Ragnar 6-man team w/ the Swamp donkey's

Do a couple Tri's: Xterra and something else

Lotoja 09'

Long-Term Running Goals:

Ironman Triathlon

Wasatch 100

Win a Race, break the tape!

Personal:

Married (Kelli) with 4 boys between 10-2: Carver, Taylor, Zach, and Tanner, live in Eden been running since my wife dragged me down to the Moab 1/2 and 5miler in 98 or 99 and I got hooked, and I wasn't even running in the race! before that i thought running just to run was not much fun, I preferred doing it while playing soccer, b-ball, etc... now I love it and working on getting bettta!

Pr'd in the moab 1/2 today... that is good, but it was definately a tough one, never felt great other than miles 5-7... it was good to battle through it and still PR, but I was hoping for sub 1:30... no worries though there will always be more, fun time good burn! Kelli (my wife), Nicholas(brolaw), & Jamie(sislaw) did great too, Nick came in a couple minutes behind me, he kept me going, I kept expecting him to come by me! Splits were:

1st = 6:37 (fast downhill, maybe too fast!), 2nd = 6:55(eased in to a good pace), 3rd = 7:02, 4th = 7:06, 5th = 7:00, 6th  = 6:59, 7th = 7:10, 8th = 7:07, 9th = 7:03(the hill mile, felt good about this mile), 10th = 7:09, 11th = 7:28(gettin tough), 12th = 7:18,13th = 7:14, last .14 6:50

Fun race great weather.

I was  checking my HR for the race and ave. 171 for the race and all the miles were crazy consistent, within 1-2, never went below 170 or above 172! I guess that is good! I thought I was averaging mid 160's at a 7min pace, maybe that goes to show that this course ain't that easy! Summary for the race I need some harder, faster workouts to get used to a faster pace, overall very happy with the race though, I see good consistent improvements!

Great job on the PR! That's a great time.

Awesome race and congratulations on the PR! I did not know there were other Kelli's out there that spelled there names with an I. She must be cool. And you live in the most beautiful place in Utah, I am jealous!

Great job on a pr in Moab, this is a tough race. Never my best, that sub- 1:30 will come.

Thanks... yea my wife is proud of the "i" and usually corrects quickly when people spell her name with a "y"...the race was a good one, even though I was expecting a bit better, but I felt like I pushed it good!

Well, us KELLI'S with an I will one day take over the world---even if it is just the two of us (actually, I just remembered another one, she was a volunteer at the race this year, so the 3 of us will do it together!)

My wife spells her name with an ie. But it's Vickie, and not Kelli.

Tell her to drop the e and she can join our RULE THE WORLD club.
